WALKER THRASH
MANAGING PARTNER
Walker is a developer and contractor with a portfolio of large-scale projects across the country. He focuses on building public-private partnerships that bring cities, agencies, and private partners to the table to make ambitious developments possible. Through Vertikal, he combines a design/build approach with creative financing strategies—including tax credits, bonds, grants, and layered partnerships—to bring projects to fruition.
His work spans housing, hotels, retail, offices, and mixed-use communities. Walker has a passion for creativity in design and deal structuring and a deep appreciation of the development partners that join in the company’s vision.

SARAH NEWTON
PARTNER/DESIGN
An architect that brings nearly 20 years of experience to the team, Sarah received her BArch from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002. Her architectural experience comprises a wide range of project types including historic preservation, religious assembly, institutional, mixed-use, retail, multi-family housing, and residential.

She has worked extensively with the Department on Archives and History on both public grant and historic tax credit projects and has experience with New Market Tax Credit projects. In 2017, Sarah led the design coordination, and assisted in the construction management, of a new collection of boutique hotels that include the Origin Hotel collection, the historic Hotel Morgan, and Hotel Tupelo.

ANDRE HOLDER
PARTNER/PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Andre has nearly 20 years of international experience in construction management. After graduating from the University of Toronto with his Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering in 2002 (followed by his MBA in 2006 and PMP in 2014), Andre started working immediately in large commercial construction as a Project Engineer.
His main projects included airports, hospitals, and recreation centers. In 2011 Andre relocated to Australia where he worked as a Senior Project Controller for heavy industrial projects in the mining sector.​ Upon completion, he moved to Indonesia to work as a project manager for a twin tower high rise luxury condo in Jakarta. Andre focuses daily on project scheduling, cost control/budgeting as well as preconstruction management.

MATTHEW KEITH
PARTNER/OPERATIONS
Matthew brings 15+ years of real estate and construction experience to Vertikal. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he has spent the last 15+ years helping to develop a myriad of projects ranging from single family homes to high-rise multi-family to hotel construction and development.

Matthew is focused daily on the company financials and data analytics. He works closely with lenders throughout the construction process, underwrites the projects, and analyzes financials, project sites, and project and market data for new projects.

MARCO OLIVEIRA
SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER
Marco is a seasoned project manager with deep experience delivering residential, hotel, and restaurant projects across the country. He has led the development of landmark hospitality projects—including Hotel Tupelo, Hotel Longmont, and Hotel Morgan—bringing complex visions from concept to completion. With a strong understanding of both commercial and residential construction, Marco ensures that each project balances design intent, budget, and execution.
At Vertikal, he combines technical expertise with hands-on leadership, coordinating architects, contractors, and partners to deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality. His work reflects a commitment to thoughtful design and efficient delivery that strengthens both communities and the clients they serve.

HOLLYNE CONTINI
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Fueled by coffee and construction timelines, Hollyne keeps projects (and people) moving. As a seasoned Construction Project Manager, she thrives on bringing structure to chaos and turning blueprints into reality. Equal parts organized strategist and boots-on-the-ground problem solver, she manages homeowners, trade partners, and residential projects with precision and personality. Personal passion projects outside of work involve Colorado's playground, workouts, her husband, two boys, and the world’s greatest golden retriever named Cheddar.

CRAIG TORBETT
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Craig has 14 years of experience in residential construction, building high-end luxury custom and semi-custom homes. In Colorado, he's delivered houses all throughout Boulder and Larimer Counties. He’s proud of his service to several Marshall Fire victims in rebuilding their homes. Craig has worked closely with municipal staff, from pre-construction through project delivery, helping his organization navigate ever-changing code requirements. Prior to his move to Colorado in 2019, in partnership with a small outfit in Oakton, VA, Craig built and sold single family homes in Vienna, Arlington and McLean, VA. As his company’s sole internal listing agent and project manager, from 2013-2019 he delivered over 30 million worth of spec/semi-custom/custom homes.

Outside of work, Craig cherishes the time he spends with his wife Stephanie and two
young sons, Bode and Jack. He looks forward to family ski trips throughout Colorado.

VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES
Danielle brings more than 20 years of real estate sales, leadership, and marketing experience to Vertikal. In her role, she oversees all aspects of sales and marketing strategy, leading teams focused on delivering measurable results and maintaining a consistent brand presence across multiple developments.
She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Michigan before building a career that has spanned more than two decades in real estate. Her background includes leading high-performing teams, developing innovative marketing strategies, and guiding organizations through growth in both residential and community-focused projects. Danielle also brings extensive expertise in new construction, giving her a unique understanding of how to position and market homes from the ground up.

DANIEL KOZACHUK
HOMEOWNER EXPERIENCE MANAGER
Daniel Kozachuk is the Homeowner Experience Manager at Vertikal, where he ensures every homeowner’s journey is seamless and high-quality. He coordinates closely with superintendents to ensure properties are delivered on time and meet the highest standards.
Before joining Vertikal, Daniel built a strong background in construction and project management, overseeing hundreds of residential and commercial projects. His expertise includes strategic planning, quality assurance, and project
oversight.
In addition to his construction career, Daniel is a former professional hockey player with international experience across Europe and North America. He transitioned into coaching, leading youth and high school teams to success.
